"I support the return of our state to equal governance and stand by our local officials calling for a full investigation into the Cuomo government's handling of nursing homes during COVID-19," Ocasio-Cortez said in a statement.
"Thousands of New Yorkers at risk were killed in nursing homes during the pandemic," she added. "Your loved ones and the public deserve response and transparency from your elected leadership, and the Secretary to the Governor's Remarks warrants a full investigation."
