Don Lemon assaults pro-Trump Republicans for daring to honor MLK

CNN host Don Lemon was completely unglued Monday night when he attacked Republican lawmakers who dared to honor Martin Luther King Jr. on the late civil rights leader's holiday.

Lemon attacks pro-Trump Republicans

Lemon got angry when he saw Republicans like Vice President Mike Pence, Senator Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), and Senators Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) on Twitter to pay tribute King on the national day dedicated to him. In a devastating monologue in which he relentlessly mocked her, Lemon called each of these conservatives by name.

"Those Republicans like Mike Pence who post 50 tweets of Dr. King's words, can you believe that?" Said Lemon mockingly. "Like Mitch McConnell, who supported the president, whose actions go against everything that Dr. King stood. Like Lindsey Graham, who allegedly phoned Georgia election officials to get them to cast legal votes, including large numbers of black voters. Ted Cruz, who still voted against the confirmation of the election of the electoral college after the uprising on Capitol Hill. "

"One Republican after another, it appears that you are hoping that you will forget about your support for a president who raced Americans against each other," he continued. “Donald Trump created an environment in which white supremacists and conspiracy theorists overran the United States Capitol. He used race to separate us from the start. All of this is the opposite of what Dr. King stood for what he died for more than 50 years ago. "

Lemon doubles

Lemon went on to say that these comments were particularly bad in the run-up to Joe Biden's inauguration on Wednesday.

"The Biden-Harris administration was chosen to represent all Americans with more than 81 million people voting for it," he said. "But it was the voters of the color who got them across the finish line, even when the current president – at least until Wednesday noon – deliberately tried to divide us."

Lemon ended his hideous ranting by reading an excerpt from King's letter from a Birmingham, Alabama prison, in which he spoke of "frustration with the whites who just didn't get it."

"A shallow understanding of people of good will is more frustrating than absolute misunderstanding of people of bad will," reads a quote from the letter. "Luke's warm acceptance is far more confusing than outright rejection."

The real people who are dying to part us right now are members of the liberal media like Lemon. He might want to take a look at himself in the mirror because we doubt King would support what he's doing at all.
