Yesterday we reported that President Donald Trump had given Dr. Anthony Fauci had blown up as a "disaster". Now the director of the National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases has broken his silence to give his answer.
Trump reportedly protested Fauci against his campaign workers on Monday.
“People are tired of hearing Fauci and all these idiots, these people, these people who got it wrong. Fauci is a nice guy, he's been here for 500 years, he wrongly named each of them, "said Trump.
"Every time he goes on TV there is a bomb. But there is a bigger bomb if you fire him. But Fauci is a disaster. I mean, this guy, if I listen to him, we would have 500,000 deaths" added the President.

During an interview on AM radio station KNX1070, Fauci tried to dismiss Trump's comments, calling them a "distraction".
“I would prefer not to comment on this and just move on, what we are really trying and what we are trying to do is to protect the health, welfare and safety of the American people, primarily and ultimately the world. Said Fauci.
"We're seeing increases in some cases – higher than ever," he continued. "Many, many states that have done reasonably well are now showing upward trends. That is what we should focus on."

After adding that he did not want to create an "I versus the President" mentality since he felt it would not help, Fauci quoted the film "The Godfather".
"[Fighting the virus is] the only thing that really matters to me," he said. "The other stuff is like in The Godfather: Nothing personal, purely business-like for me. I just want to do my job and take care of the people in this country."
Trump attacked Fauci again on Tuesday morning during an interview with "Fox & Friends".
"He's a Democrat. He's actually a very good friend of the Cuomo family," Trump said of Fauci. "The only thing I say is that sometimes he's a little bit of a team player. But he's a Democrat."
