In a new video, the Lincoln Project says the Republican Party has a choice of "Trump or the Truth" as the impeachment proceedings against the former president begin today.
"The evidence is all visible to the world, "said a voice-over at the end of the video. "This is not a vote for conscience, it is a vote for truth. Where are you Senators, with Trump or the truth?"
The video includes footage of the storming of the United States Capitol when supporters of former President Donald Trump urged his supporters to "fight like hell" to scrap the 2020 general election results.

The video came before confirmation from senior helps the prosecutors use new evidence against him for Trump's impeachment proceedings.
