Evidence continues to grow that Trump didn't just instigate the attack. He financed and helped with the planning. Lindsey Graham is offended because he can't handle the reality that he and his former president built the uprising.
Graham was one of the voices in support of Trump's false claim that the election was stolen, and he may have committed the crime of polluting the election by pressuring Georgian officials to cast votes for Joe Biden.
Republicans like Senator Graham can make up any excuse they want, but they defend the untenable.
There is no justification Republicans can dream of that is strong enough to support the vote not to condemn Donald Trump.
The fact that Republicans are being offended by reality perfectly sums up the state of the dying Republican Party.
