House spokeswoman Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) went defensive during her weekly press conference on Friday as she debated plans for Joe Biden to have a scaled-down inauguration next week.
Pelosi comes unglued
"For a long time, weeks, it was decided that we were going to have a very little initiation because of COVID," Pelosi said, adding, "that to have the distance and the rest on the platform and then some people down." it would be necessary to limit it. "
She went on to say it was "most disappointing" because "we are delighted to appoint a new President of the United States, but not at the risk of the health and well-being of the people, and indeed their lives."
"So it's getting small," Pelosi continued before mentioning the riots in the Capitol last week.
"Now, with last week's uprising, it is necessary to have more security for security reasons, but the nature of the swearing has not changed," she said. "I think it is important that people know. This is not a concession to the terrorists. It is an acknowledgment of the danger of COVID."

Pelosi says lawmakers could be prosecuted for Capitol riot
Pelosi also said any lawmakers who played a role in aiding the Capitol rioters last week could be prosecuted.
"If members of Congress actually turn out to be accomplices in this insurrection, if they supported and aided the crime, action may need to be taken beyond Congress as far as law enforcement is concerned," she said, according to Politico.

"To see this punk with this shirt and his anti-Semitism, who he bragged about being part of a white supremacist attack on this capital, we have to do an investigation," said Pelosi.
This comes days after Pelosi brought the second time indictment against President Donald Trump in the House.
