Rick Snyder faces legal fees of flint poisoning

Michigan plans to indict former Governor Rick Snyder and other members of the government on crimes of poisoning flint with lead.

The AP reported:

Former Michigan governor Rick Snyder, his health director, and other ex-officials have learned they were charged after a new investigation into the Flint water scandal that devastated the majority of black cities with lead-contaminated water and was held responsible for a The The Associated Press learned of a fatal outbreak of Legionnaires' Disease in 2014-15.

Two people aware of the proposed prosecution told the AP on Tuesday that the attorney general's office had notified defense attorneys of charges in Flint and told them to expect a trial soon.

The Republicans have been covering up the poisoning of the residents of a largely African-American city for years. The Flint water crisis was one of the largest public health criminal acts in the United States.

Snyder and his government knowingly poisoned Flint's people by cutting their water supplies for cost reasons.

After all, there is a possibility that the people of Flint who have suffered for years will meet because of a Republican governor and his government's mismanagement and ruthless disregard for human life and public safety.
