A new investigation has revealed that Roger Stone's Oath Keepers personal security detail was involved in the attack on the Capitol.
The New York Times found:
According to a New York Times investigation, at least six people who had given Roger Stone security entered the Capitol during the January 6 attack.
Videos show the group guarding Mr. Stone, a longtime friend of former President Donald J. Trump, on the day of the attack or the day before. All six are linked to the Oath Keepers, an extreme right-wing anti-government militia known for protecting right-wing figures and protesters at public events.
Stone said he saw no evidence of illegal activities by his right-wing militia bodyguards, but the New York Times uncovered a mountain of evidence against Stone and his associates. Roger Stone showed in the 2016 elections that he posed a threat to the country.
Donald Trump is no longer in power to protect him.
With Stone appearing even more dangerous, it is time for law enforcement to crack down on right-wing domestic terrorism.
Pardons do not remove convictions for criminal offenses. Roger Stone is a convicted criminal who was on the scene of a federal crime. The Justice Department needs to investigate Stone and possibly send him back to prison.
