Former President Donald Trump has resigned from the Screen Actors Guild – American Association of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) with a blistering letter in which he criticized the organization's "grim record as a union".
Trump resigns from SAG-AFTRA
Trump submitted his resignation after SAG-AFTRA threatened his expulsion. The union claimed it had found a "probable cause" for the former president "breaking the union's constitution" over the past month over the events on Capitol Hill.
“I am writing to you today about the so-called Disciplinary Committee Hearing aimed at revoking my union membership. Who cares! ”Trump wrote to SAG President Gabrielle Carteris in his letter received on Fox News.
"Although I'm unfamiliar with your work, I take great pride in my work on films like Home Alone 2, Zoolander and Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps; and television shows like The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," Saturday Night Live “And of course one of the most successful shows in television history, The Apprentice – to name a few!” Trump added.

The former president, who did not stop there, added that he "was also very helpful to the cable news television business (supposedly a dying platform that didn't have much time left before I got involved in politics) and thousands of jobs on networks like MSDNC and Fake News CNN, among others. "
"That brings me to your apparent attempt to get the attention of the free media to distract from your grim record as a union," Trump said.
"Your organization has done little for its members and nothing for me – other than collecting fees and promoting dangerous un-American policies and ideas – as evidenced by your massive unemployment rates and lawsuits from famous actors who even have a video saying 'Why is the union fighting not for me? & # 39; "he added.
